SO...I obviously went on a hiatus. Now for the highlites of 2007
- Biggy on my list was my career switch. Fond memories I harboured for Power, but when the numbers on yur bank book grows faster somewhere else (in the same line of work), I reckon I made a wise choice.
- GST. Really pained me. Kill! Stab!
- Friends have been amazing thruout. Bestie Sab, Kailin, my lurvely brudder JX, Lya and of course the Sis.. N I thank God once again for blessing me with mature and non-slutty friends and family, cos I managed to gain a deeper insight to insignificant spam, which I never knew existed in my sphere! Thank god, they have been zapped! Phew, can't let the image be tainted. Lurve Friendsies!
- Holidays. Need not say much but it was SPLENDID with a capital S. Bounteous pampering may I add. Juz can't get enuff. More, I desire. Looking forward to 2008.

So I was tasked to get an article done on local movies and production.
As much as I would love to perceive myself flexible in handling most beats or topics, I seriously beg to differ on this one.
Substance on this subject? Zilch. Excellent!
Extensive searches my lappie underwent for local movies and talents..
*Might need to even bring it to Forum for psychiatric treatment due to the scores of search engines I tried hitting.Bleah*
My say: When local movies find it difficult to even cover production costs, the mere smell of profit is a far-fetched idea. Citing movies like 881, Invisible City, Gone Shopping, Men in White etc which have failed to clinch financial success.
I reckon, local movies will be embraced when Singaporeans change their tastes and of course local movies can be on par with Hollywood blockbusters...Timeline for the above target to be met: urm..ok let's not go there.
And I'm juz being a realist.
